What is the best way to use my membership?

The best way to use our website is to be proactive. We suggest keeping a Ladders resume posted so it can be searchable by the 200,000+ employers who use our site. You can even import your personal resume to our Resume page, to help us build a document for you. You can find that feature here:

If possible, you should be looking at the new jobs we post every day- so that you don't miss out on any great opportunities! We recommend applying to between 3 and 5 relevant jobs per week. Don't forget to use our Scout feature to help you decide what to highlight in your cover letter and what positions you should really take the time to apply for. You can also set up Saved Searches to get weekly updates when new positions are posted that match your search criteria. We'll also be emailing you with relevant jobs that match your skill set during the week.

Once you land an interview, check out our News & Advice section for tips on everything from interviewing to salary negotiation. There you can also use the navigation in the header to get more background information on companies you are interested in and any relevant salary information we have. You can find that here:
